👨‍💼【Teacher / Regional CEO】:
Thank you for meeting on short notice. I heard that our top sales manager received an offer from a competitor. This could seriously affect our business in this region.
🧑‍🎓【Student / HR Director】:
Yes, I confirmed the situation with him yesterday. He mentioned a 30 percent salary increase and a director position. We need to respond quickly to keep him with us.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Regional CEO】:
What can we offer to match their proposal? I want to avoid losing such an important person.
🧑‍🎓【Student / HR Director】:
Let me explain our options. First, we can increase his salary by 25 percent. Second, we can promote him to regional sales director. Third, we can provide stock options starting next year. These changes will help us keep him and improve team motivation.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Regional CEO】:
The stock option sounds good, but can we really approve a 25 percent increase? That seems quite high compared to our usual policy.
🧑‍🎓【Student / HR Director】:
I understand your concern. However, replacing him would cost more. We would need to spend at least 6 months finding and training a new person. During that time, we could lose key clients and reduce our revenue by 15 percent.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Regional CEO】:
You make a good point. When can you discuss this offer with him? We should move forward before he makes a final decision.
🧑‍🎓【Student / HR Director】:
I will arrange a meeting with him tomorrow morning. I will explain the complete package including the promotion and stock options. I expect to receive his answer by the end of this week.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Regional CEO】:
Perfect. Please keep me updated on the progress. I really appreciate your quick response on this critical matter.
