👨💼【Teacher / Target Company CEO】:
Thank you for meeting with us today. Our employees are very concerned about what will happen after the acquisition. Can you explain your integration approach?
🧑🎓【Student / Acquiring Company Sales Director】:
I understand your concern. Let me explain our plan. First, we prepared a 100-day integration plan with clear milestones. Second, we will focus on back-office functions at the beginning, but keep front-line operations separate for at least 6 months. Third, we will set up a dedicated integration team with representatives from both companies.
👨💼【Teacher / Target Company CEO】:
That sounds reasonable, but what about our company culture? We have built a strong culture over 20 years. Will you try to change everything?
🧑🎓【Student / Acquiring Company Sales Director】:
Not at all. We respect your culture and people. We will conduct a culture assessment to understand the differences. We will keep the best practices from both sides in our processes and systems. We will also hold regular town hall meetings to build a unified culture through transparent communication.
👨💼【Teacher / Target Company CEO】:
I appreciate that. However, our key employees are worried about their positions and career development. How will you handle this?
🧑🎓【Student / Acquiring Company Sales Director】:
We have a clear plan for that. We will offer stay bonuses and career development plans to keep key talent. We will make organizational changes gradually. We will not make any changes during the first 90 days. We will give 30 days notice before any change. We will also provide voluntary exit packages and treat promotion opportunities equally for employees from both companies.
👨💼【Teacher / Target Company CEO】:
This is very reassuring. Your approach shows that you truly care about our people and business. I agree to work together on a detailed integration plan.
