👨💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager】:
Thank you for sending the quotation. However, I must say the price is much higher than we expected. Can you explain why it costs this much?
🧑🎓【Student / Sales Representative】:
I understand your concern about the price. Let me explain three reasons why our price is appropriate. First, Company A, our competitor, accepted a similar price level, which reflects the current market standard. Second, we minimized material costs and development costs as much as possible. Third, Company B offers a slightly lower price, but they have many quality issues that may cause extra costs in the long term.
👨💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager】:
I see your points, but our management is very strict about budget control. Is there any room for negotiation on the price?
🧑🎓【Student / Sales Representative】:
I appreciate your situation. While the base price reflects our actual costs, we can offer a 3 percent discount if you confirm a 2-year contract with us. This would help us reduce overall costs and share the benefit with you.
👨💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager】:
A 3 percent discount is helpful, but I need to check with my supervisor before making a decision. This is a significant investment for us.
🧑🎓【Student / Sales Representative】:
Of course, I completely understand. Please take the time you need to discuss internally. Our offer remains valid for 2 weeks, so there is no rush. When you are ready, please let me know your decision.
👨💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager】:
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. I will discuss this with my team and get back to you within a few days with our decision.
