👨‍💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager (Client)】:
Thank you for meeting with me today. I need to discuss our payment terms due to some financial constraints we're currently facing.
🧑‍🎓【Student / Sales Representative】:
I appreciate you bringing this up. Could you elaborate on what changes you're considering?

👨‍💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager (Client)】:
We'd like to extend the payment period from 30 days to 90 days. Our cash flow has been affected by the recent market conditions.
🧑‍🎓【Student / Sales Representative】:
I understand your situation. However, extending to 90 days would impose significant risk on our side. Let me suggest an alternative. First, we can extend to 60 days with a letter of credit. Second, we can offer installment payment over 3 months with a bank guarantee. Third, we can maintain 30 days if you reduce the order volume by 20 percent. This approach would help us mitigate the credit risk while supporting your business.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager (Client)】:
The letter of credit option sounds reasonable, but the cost of issuing it is quite high for us. Can you be more flexible?
🧑‍🎓【Student / Sales Representative】:
I see your concern about the cost. Let me consult with our credit management team and calculate a more balanced solution. We might be able to accommodate a 60-day term with a reduced deposit of 15 percent instead of the letter of credit. I'll need to assess your recent transaction history and submit this proposal internally.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager (Client)】:
That sounds more workable. How soon can you get back to me with a definite answer?
🧑‍🎓【Student / Sales Representative】:
I'll coordinate with our team and provide you with a formal proposal by the end of this week. We value our long-term relationship and want to find a solution that works for both sides.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Purchasing Manager (Client)】:
I appreciate your willingness to cooperate on this. I'll be waiting to hear from you. Let's make sure we can continue this partnership smoothly.
