👨‍💼【Teacher / Supplier Representative】:
Thank you for taking the time to meet with us today. We understand your company is looking to reduce geopolitical risks in your supply chain. We would like to explain our supply capacity and competitive advantages as a potential new supplier.
🧑‍🎓【Student / Trade Administration Staff】:
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are currently reviewing our procurement portfolio to improve risk diversification. Could you explain your production capacity and lead time in detail? We need to confirm whether you can handle our monthly volume of 50000 units with a lead time of 6 weeks.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Supplier Representative】:
We operate 3 production facilities across different regions, which reduces geopolitical concentration risk. Our total monthly capacity is 200000 units, and we can deliver within 5 weeks. We also offer a price that is 8 percent lower than the current market average.
🧑‍🎓【Student / Trade Administration Staff】:
That sounds promising. However, we need to consider the balance with our existing suppliers. We currently source 70 percent from Supplier A and 30 percent from Supplier B. If we work with you, we plan to reduce Supplier A to 50 percent and allocate 30 percent to you while keeping Supplier B at 20 percent. This approach will improve our risk diversification without causing disruption to our current operations.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Supplier Representative】:
We appreciate your careful approach to portfolio management. To support a smooth transition, we can start with a trial order of 10000 units. This will help you test our quality and delivery performance before increasing the volume. What do you think about this proposal?
🧑‍🎓【Student / Trade Administration Staff】:
That is a reasonable proposal. We will arrange a trial order next month and review the results within 2 months. If the quality and delivery meet our requirements, we will gradually increase the allocation to 30 percent over the following 6 months. We also need to discuss payment terms and contract conditions before we finalize the agreement.

👨‍💼【Teacher / Supplier Representative】:
Excellent. We offer standard payment terms of 60 days after delivery, and we are open to discussing flexible contract conditions that work for both sides. I will send you a detailed proposal including pricing, specifications, and contract draft by the end of this week. Thank you for considering us as your new partner.
