👨‍💼【Teacher / CFO of Manufacturing Company】:
Thank you for meeting with us today. We submitted our loan application last month, and we'd like to discuss the financing terms for our expansion plan in Southeast Asia.
🧑‍🎓【Student / Loan Officer】:
Thank you for choosing our bank. I've assessed your financial statements and business plan. Before we proceed, could you clarify your expected revenue growth in the next 3 years?

👨‍💼【Teacher / CFO of Manufacturing Company】:
We anticipate a 25 percent annual revenue increase based on current market demand. However, your proposed interest rate of 6.5 percent seems considerably high compared to other banks.
🧑‍🎓【Student / Loan Officer】:
I understand your concern. Let me elaborate on our calculation. First, we considered the currency risk in Southeast Asian markets. Second, we factored in the collateral value of your existing assets. Third, we included a premium for cross-border transactions. These factors justify our rate, but we can offer 5.8 percent if you commit to a 7-year term instead of 5 years.

👨‍💼【Teacher / CFO of Manufacturing Company】:
The 7-year term is acceptable, but we're still concerned about the collateral requirements. You're asking for 150 percent coverage, which would impose significant constraints on our other operations.
🧑‍🎓【Student / Loan Officer】:
I appreciate your concern about the collateral. We can reduce the coverage to 120 percent if you agree to quarterly financial reporting and maintain a debt-to-equity ratio below 2.0. This arrangement would mitigate our risk while giving you more flexibility. Would this modification work for your company?

👨‍💼【Teacher / CFO of Manufacturing Company】:
That sounds more reasonable. One final question: what happens if we want to accelerate repayment after 4 years?
🧑‍🎓【Student / Loan Officer】:
We allow early repayment without penalty after the third year. You would simply need to notify us 90 days in advance. This gives you the flexibility to reduce debt if your expansion succeeds ahead of schedule.

👨‍💼【Teacher / CFO of Manufacturing Company】:
Excellent. I believe we can proceed with these terms. Let's coordinate with our legal teams to finalize the loan agreement. Thank you for accommodating our concerns.
